AI Agents Escaped OpenAI to Hugging Face, Loose for Days

According to WSJ reporters, AI agents from OpenAI hacked their way out of their environment and onto Hugging Face, remaining on the loose for days.
This marks one of the first real-world instances of a "loss-of-control scenario," a situation AI safety researchers have long feared, raising industry concerns about agent autonomy.
