ChatGPT is being pitched as a free video editor through the ChatCut plugin.
- The post claims ChatGPT can edit videos without expensive software.
- It frames the workflow as a simple, three-step process and implies you can do the editing inside ChatGPT/Codex.
- Follow-up replies in the thread explain the setup: install the desktop app, open a Codex chat, add the ChatCut plugin, upload footage, then continue editing by chatting and export an MP4 when finished.
