A Reddit thread asks whether there will be a separate Flux 3 Klein release after Black Forest Labs’ Flux 3 announcement.
The linked blog post says the next few waves of Flux 3 capabilities will include:
- video and audio generation/editing via APIs and private weights (FLUX 3 Video)
- action prediction with selected research and commercial partners, starting with mimic robotics (FLUX-mimic and FLUX 3 Action)
- image synthesis and editing via APIs and private weights (FLUX 3 Image)
- open-weight access to a multimodal backbone for content creation and action prediction (FLUX 3 Dev)
The poster’s conclusion: the roadmap appears to be a family of capabilities, not a separate “Klein” model.
