What the project is
- An open-source map of the agent landscape, licensed MIT and still growing.

How it works
- The ranking is rebuilt from a fresh GitHub snapshot each week so users can see which projects are rising or cooling down.
- On top of the heat chart, the site groups tools by the decision you are actually making: direct execution, harness frameworks, autonomous agents, build-your-own, runtimes, self-hosted tools, and more.
- Each project also gets a side-by-side capability matrix across nine dimensions, plus separate pages for memory behavior and billing.
What the author learned
- “Has memory” means at least six different things across these projects, from self-editing stores to passive semantic recall.
- Skill collections and skill frameworks have occupied about half of the weekly heat top 10 for two months, which is a good example of popularity not matching fit.
Why it matters
- The tool is designed to answer “what is climbing this week?” and also “what actually fits my build?”
