PhD graduate joins Singapore DSTA to study language, networks, and agents

The author says they have moved to Singapore after finishing a PhD and joined the Defence Science Technology Agency as Deputy Head of Information Management in the Information Programme Center.
They also introduced their new lab, The LAN Shop, which will study how language, networks, and automated agents shape collective behavior online. A website has been launched and will be updated with future projects. The author adds that returning to Singapore is personally meaningful because it is where they grew up and where their parents live.
