OpenRouter says it is now processing 25 trillion AI tokens per week, up from 5 trillion just six months ago.
The surge is attributed to agents, which consume far more tokens than normal chat usage. The post also notes recent business momentum: OpenRouter reportedly raised $113M at a $1.3B valuation, and the WSJ says Stripe is in talks for a roughly $10B acquisition.
