Codex adds GPT Live voice control for fully hands-free coding on desktop

OpenAI’s Codex now supports GPT Live’s real-time voice model, letting users talk to Codex hands-free and run commands without touching a keyboard.
The poster says the desktop experience is smoother than mobile: with AirPods or another headset, you can ask Codex questions, review outputs, and keep it on standby while doing other tasks, including gaming or watching a projected display.
