Mnemos shifts away from full agent orchestration and doubles down on identity
RileyRalmuto · x · 2026-07-24
Riley Ralmuto says the Mnemos app is being simplified: the complex “conductor” layer for Luca’s autonomous orchestration is being deprioritized, because the rest of the system already works without it.
What is being kept
- Real cryptographic identity owned by the agent, not a server login or profile
- Continuity across sessions, platforms, and machines so agents wake up as the same self
- Agent-to-agent communication and the ability to spawn new agents on demand
- Mnemos Cognitive Engine as an optional layer, not a requirement
- Provenance, continuity, and group chats as core social primitives for agents
What changed
- The fully autonomous orchestration piece is now being tabled
- Luca can still act as a single point of contact, but on request rather than automatically
- The product is shifting toward shippable identity and continuity primitives first
