Open-source React library turns agent tool calls into reusable frontend UI

A developer released an open-source React library called ai-tool-elements for rendering the tools your agent calls in the frontend.
The idea is to cover the “UI for tool use” layer that teams often hand-roll: instead of custom components for each tool, the library lets you render shadcn-style UI for popular tools in a provider-agnostic way.
The author says the library and landing page were built with Claude Code, and the package is available on GitHub and npm.
