Claude Code workaround gist resurfaces after a messy 19-tool run
PawelHuryn · x · 2026-07-24
The author says they no longer know how they used Claude Code extension before this “collapse,” and links an unofficial mod gist.
The attached screenshot shows the agent getting stuck in a messy workflow:
- Bash scripts were swallowing PowerShell variables, so the author switched to a proper script file.
- The run ended up calling 19 tools, then encountering new commit noise and backup-branch juggling.
- The log suggests a restore/force-push recovery path rather than a clean completion.
It’s a practical, slightly chaotic example of real-world Claude Code extension usage and the kinds of workarounds people build around it.
