The latest ChatGPT Desktop update for Codex Micro adds broader customization for the hardware controls.
According to the screenshots, users can now assign:
- any action to any keys when using custom assignments
- agent keys to custom mappings
- keycap keys to skills
The images also show a settings surface for chats, shortcuts, keycaps, and skills, suggesting the desktop app is consolidating how Codex Remote and agent workflows are controlled.
