Z Image Turbo keeps turning trees into abstract-texture messes

A Reddit user says Z Image Turbo keeps producing bizarre tree-and-branch textures that look like abstract art, even when no LoRA is used.
The attached image shows the kind of output they mean: the model appears to render foliage and bark in a highly distorted, painterly way. The post is essentially a bug report / behavior complaint about the image model rather than a general prompt question.
