FRONTIER Act draft wins cautious praise from AI safety advocates

Nat Purser says the latest FRONTIER Act draft is the strongest AI safety proposal yet, after substantial feedback on the earlier federal framework discussion draft.
He still wants improvements, but says the narrower preemption and stronger auditing provisions are a meaningful sign that Congress is moving quickly and is worth continued engagement.
