Claude Code users say constant permission prompts are breaking their focus
thisismyburneracct_1 · reddit · 2026-07-24
A Reddit user says Claude Code makes them lose focus because it interrupts every 2–3 minutes for permission prompts, even with a generous allowlist.
They describe the workflow as “the worst of both worlds”: too little babysitting work to justify staying on the task, but not enough uninterrupted time to switch to other work. Running multiple sessions only makes it harder to track what each agent is doing, leading to blind approvals. They ask how others handle the interruption problem.
