A developer shared a shift in their work mode after using AI for coding. With AI taking over the actual coding tasks, they finally have more room to step back and ask bigger questions: What are people actually struggling with? What's the common thread across all these issues? What's even worth solving in the first place? They noted that while coding always had a right answer, this higher-level thinking relies on best guesses without absolute answers, which is a transition they are still getting used to.
