LTX Desktop 1.1.0 brings local video generation to Apple Silicon Macs
ltx_model · reddit · 2026-07-23
LTX Desktop v1.1.0 adds several major features for local multimodal generation:
- Apple Silicon Macs can now generate video locally; the maintainer says the tested target is an M4 Pro with 48GB RAM.
- A built-in LoRA / IC-LoRA library lets users browse, download, and apply adapters inside the app with per-adapter strength control.
- Video extend can append or prepend generated clips.
- Image editing is now supported via Z-Image-Turbo.
Other updates include a model manager for switching/deleting versions, better first-run download transparency, an optional diffusion stage cache on NVIDIA/CUDA, and several bug fixes.
The app still treats lower-memory Apple Silicon setups as best-effort rather than guaranteed, and it checks for roughly 15GB of free RAM at launch.
