Stack Overflow pushes an API-first knowledge layer for enterprise AI agents
pchandrasekar · x · 2026-07-23
Enterprise AI agents still fail when company knowledge is scattered across docs, wikis, and chat tools and nobody trusts what is current or correct.
Stack Overflow says it is addressing that problem with two offerings:
- Stack Internal for enterprise knowledge
- Stack Overflow for Agents in the public realm
The company argues its 18 years of experience curating and validating knowledge gives it an edge in building an API-first knowledge layer that helps coding assistants find verified answers and feed corrections back into the system.
