First CAR-T Cell Therapy Approved for Solid Tumors in Gastric Cancer
Dr_Singularity · x · 2026-07-23
The first CAR-T cell therapy for solid tumors has been approved. The treatment, satricabtagene autoleucel (satri-cel), targets patients with CLDN18.2-positive, HER2-negative advanced gastric and gastroesophageal junction cancer who have received at least two prior treatments.
In a phase II clinical trial, it improved both progression-free survival and overall survival, marking a major milestone for cancer immunotherapies.
