Kingsoft Office launches Lingxi Professional, an AI office agent that outputs editable files

Kingsoft Office launched Lingxi Professional, an AI-native office agent built to produce editable Office documents rather than “fake files.”
What it can do
- Organize work by project, keeping chats, documents, materials, and progress in one context.
- Search the web, read sources, and generate DOCX reports with proper structure.
- Build editable PPTs and spreadsheets that preserve formulas, conditional formatting, and data relationships.
- Use a background memory system called “auto dreaming” to summarize, compress, and structure past work when compute is idle.
Under the hood
- The agent can switch among multiple domestic foundation models automatically.
- It uses WPSCLI to create native Office objects instead of flat images.
- Before delivery, it runs a rendering check to catch layout issues and auto-fix them.
Why it stands out
The product focuses on the whole task chain—understanding the request, retrieving context, calling tools, generating files, validating output, and delivering something that can be edited immediately.
