RedNote’s dots-note-3.0 reportedly scores a perfect 42/42 on the IMO

A repost claims that RedNote/Xiaohongshu built a model called dots-note-3.0 that scored a perfect 42/42 on the International Mathematical Olympiad.
- The post says Google DeepMind and OpenAI reached 35/42 last year, which was already gold-medal level.
- It also notes that only 7 of 666 human contestants in Shanghai matched that result this year.
- The key point is that IMO grading requires written proofs, so this is a much stronger signal than benchmarks that only check the final answer.
