Substack has shipped an AI slop detector and featured Peter Yang’s writing as an example of editing with AI without producing generic output.
Yang says his workflow is a 25/50/25 split: first draft without AI, use AI in the middle 50% for grammar and clarity, then do a final manual line edit. The post frames good AI-assisted writing as staying in control, not outsourcing the whole piece.
