VidBoards is an open-source canvas for comparing AI image and video generations side by side
The author built VidBoards, a free, open-source canvas app for people who generate lots of images or videos with tools like SD, WAN and ComfyUI and then waste time scrubbing through them one by one.
The app acts like an infinite moodboard where you can:
- drop generated images/videos onto a canvas;
- group, tag and compare variations;
- use a shared timeline scrubber to sync playback across all clips;
- create sequence mode playlists before editing;
- batch move, recolor, delete and filter clips;
- search the board and export a full comparison sheet to PNG.
It’s MIT-licensed, free, and available for Windows, macOS and Linux.
