Tesla's Robotaxi service is reportedly increasing fully unsupervised miles by more than 10% week over week.
According to the quoted update, the program started about a year ago in Austin with safety monitors in the passenger seat. By the end of last year, Tesla had its first fully unsupervised robotaxis in Austin. Since the start of this year, the fleet's unsupervised miles have grown at double-digit weekly rates, and Tesla says it expects that compounding growth to continue through the rest of the year. At that pace, the poster argues, the yearlyized growth rate would exceed 14,000% or about 140x.
