Tesla says Optimus may enter production next month and become “physical AGI”

Elon Musk says Tesla's Optimus humanoid robot may start production as early as next month and could be broadly useful as “physical AGI.”
The post also quotes Musk saying:
- current robot demos are usually pre-programmed or remote-controlled
- Optimus would be the first humanoid able to do generalized tasks in a demo and be useful in day-to-day life
It extends the same “physical AGI” framing to Tesla FSD V15, the version intended for Cybercab and unsupervised self-driving, ending with the claim that “AGI everywhere” is coming soon.
