Polychat lets Codex and Claude Code agents coordinate inside one shared workspace

A developer built Polychat, a mini app that lets different coding agents collaborate in one workspace.
- It can open rooms with Codex, Fable, Opus, and other agents so they can group-chat about a plan and coordinate work without stepping on each other.
- The user can chat with all agents, set the shared context, choose how many turns each agent gets, and decide which agents participate.
- A standout feature is direct integration with Claude Code sessions: projects and open sessions appear in a drawer, and the app can connect agents into the right session automatically.
- It also works in the Codex browser and is said to be mobile compatible.
The author says the whole setup was built from a single prompt and that Claude even configured Claude Code for them.
