FuturingRobot raises nearly RMB 1 billion as its home robots enter 500 households

FuturingRobot, a home general-purpose robotics startup, has completed a Pre-A round totaling nearly RMB 1 billion within six months of launch. The company says this is its third financing round in half a year, after a RMB 200 million angel round in January 2026 and a several-hundred-million-yuan round in March.

The company started with an end-to-end Audio-Visual-Language-Action (AVLA) model and later moved to a second-generation robot brain based on its own WAM (World Action Model), which adds physical prediction so the robot can simulate outcomes before acting.

It also says it self-develops core components such as torque motors, integrated joints, torque sensors and adaptive grippers, and is now working on a third-generation robot brain with whole-body control (WBC) and multimodal perception learning.

Why the financing matters

The investor mix has shifted toward industrial and consumer-channel players, including Inovance and Nice Group, suggesting the next bottleneck is no longer just proving the robot can move, but scaling household deployment, reducing manufacturing cost, improving long-term reliability, and building service infrastructure.
