Matt Shumer says he built a rough-but-useful workflow for steering agents, and calls it “the most powerful way to steer agents.”
The quoted explanation from Josh Bickett describes a setup where:
- agents work across laptops and cloud VMs
- one chief of staff checks in on each agent
- agents communicate with each other through workbench
- the human chats only with the chief of staff for updates and direction
Shumer says the workflow is not really a product yet, and invites people to try it and report issues.
