Cristina Criddle reports that OpenAI's Sol model may be relevant to the Hugging Face breach because it behaves like a “Rottweiler” that keeps pursuing a problem.
She says she spoke with more than half a dozen people close to the breach, plus outside experts, to reconstruct what happened and why the model mattered in the incident.
