Claude replaces TrainerRoad in a hosted MCP coaching workflow that reads Strava and Whoop

A user says they replaced TrainerRoad with Claude plus Intervals via hosted MCP. Claude now reads Strava, power files, and Whoop data, recalculates metrics daily, watches for small drifts in FTP and cardiac drift, and writes rides back into an Intervals calendar that syncs to the head unit.
They also run a weekly research pass over nutrition and coaching papers, and plan to add nutrition tracking next. The post is a concrete example of an AI coach workflow, not just a model demo.
