PyTorch backs AMD’s AI DevMaster Hackathon with $30,000 in prizes

PyTorch says it is the officially recommended framework for AMD’s AI DevMaster Hackathon, which focuses on building AI apps on ROCm-enabled AMD GPUs.
The virtual event has three tracks: multimodal content creation tools, private AI agents and local deployment, and physical AI for robotics simulation/application design. Individual or 3-person teams can compete for a $30,000 prize pool, and eligible participants may also get access to AMD Radeon GPU resources. Registration is open through August 6.
