Anthropic says a knowledge-cutoff bug exposed March 2026 in some domains
A repost of an official Anthropic reply says the reported cutoff date was a bug.
According to the message, the model card will explain the behavior in more detail, and the issue affected only certain domains:
- some domains showed a March 2026 knowledge cutoff
- other domains still showed a January 2025 cutoff
- Anthropic says the model card is being linked for clarification
