A former Mayo Clinic AI compliance lead is suing the hospital network, alleging it tried to hide a medical AI tool’s 67% error rate at patients’ expense.
According to the lawsuit, staff deleted results and mischaracterized outcomes to cover up the tool’s mistakes, and the plaintiff says she was fired in retaliation after raising concerns.
