Greg Brockman says some of OpenAI’s secret efforts may reuse underlying Sora technology, and that the company is thinking about competition with Anthropic, Chinese open models, and leadership changes.
In the quoted interview text, he also says Sora was a powerful technology but a separate branch from OpenAI’s mainline reasoning and GPT models. He suggests the underlying world-model style tech could resurface in new forms aimed more at knowledge work and productivity.
