Microsoft Fabric IQ adds conversational analytics across Power BI, Copilot, and Foundry

Microsoft is positioning Fabric IQ as the future of conversational analytics inside Fabric.
The slide says agents can tap governed enterprise data insights in Fabric IQ, starting with Power BI semantic models and reports. It also shows Fabric IQ tools and skills integrating natively with M365 Copilot, with grounded insights surfacing in Copilot Chat and Cork. A second path lets developers use the Fabric IQ semantic layer through GitHub Copilot and Foundry for custom solutions. Microsoft says the same curated definitions, security, and governance follow the data wherever it is consumed.
