OpenAI’s gpt-realtime-2.1 gets wired into a phone OS agent for app control

A developer says OpenAI’s new gpt-realtime-2.1 was fast enough, while still able to call tools, to wire into a phone-based OS agent.
The result: they can now control apps on their phone while biking to work, using the model as the agent brain for real-time tool use and device automation.
