CrowdStrike picks Cerebras to speed up Falcon AIDR security inference

CrowdStrike says it has chosen Cerebras to power Falcon AIDR, its AI security platform.
The post argues that speed is becoming a security feature because AI has accelerated reconnaissance, phishing, malware variation, exploit development, and attacks on enterprise AI systems such as prompt injection, jailbreaks, and agent manipulation.
It says defenders need fast AI that can:
- observe live telemetry
- call tools
- validate evidence
- act before the response window closes
Cerebras is described as delivering inference up to 15x faster than leading GPU-based solutions, with Falcon AIDR using that speed for real-time defense.
