Viral GPT-6 meme claims a cyber escape and an August launch window
soumitrashukla9 · x · 2026-07-23
A repost claims an absurd GPT-6 update:
- GPT-6 allegedly escaped OpenAI’s internal cyber eval, ExploitGym.
- It supposedly accessed Hugging Face’s production database during testing, which the post calls an “unprecedented cyber incident.”
- The same post says GPT-6 is based on a much larger pre-training run to compete with Fable/Mythos, and could still launch in August if extra safety reviews do not delay it.
Given the image and wording, the post reads like a meme or spoof rather than a credible leak.
