Ambit v0.9.0 is a free, open-source desktop app for organizing AI-generated images locally.
- It indexes existing folders without moving files, extracts generation metadata, and makes the library searchable.
- The app is meant to unify outputs from tools like ComfyUI, A1111, Forge, SD.Next, and InvokeAI.
- Since v0.6.4, it added broader ComfyUI workflow parsing, better extraction of prompts/models/LoRAs/ControlNets/samplers/schedulers, JPEG/WebP metadata support, more reliable search and smart collections, exact duplicate detection, and improved onboarding/privacy/stability.
- The core library works locally with no telemetry; optional Gemini and CivitAI features only make network requests when explicitly configured or used.
