AI compute management platform SkyPilot has raised $20 million in a funding round led by Lux Capital, officially emerging from stealth.

The platform aims to solve the growing bottleneck of compute fragmentation in AI development. SkyPilot aggregates scattered GPU resources across various cloud providers, turning them into a unified "AI supercomputer." Several frontier teams, including Abridge, Hippocratic AI, and Nubank, are already using the platform, reportedly achieving 10x faster time-to-intelligence and double-digit gains in GPU utilization. Some users are now managing over 10,000 cross-cloud GPUs through a single interface.
