Hermes Agent is rolling out a storage optimization that cuts chat-session database size by roughly 60% on average and up to 78% in some cases.
What changes
- Databases under 1 GB optimize automatically after update.

- The migration runs silently in the background while users keep working.
Why it matters
The accompanying graphic says the team moved from duplicated private copies toward compact external-content indexes, reducing a 25.0 GB database to 9.9 GB while preserving search behavior and integrity.
