Mila launches public talks on AI misinformation and society
Mila_Quebec · x · 2026-07-22
On June 10, Pascal Lapointe, editor-in-chief of Agence Science-Presse, and Jean-François Godbout, an associate academic member at Mila, answered audience questions about misinformation in the age of AI.
The talk launched Après Mila, a new series of interactive public events where citizens can directly question a Mila researcher and a field expert about AI’s impact on society. The post also points readers to a recap of the first evening and notes that the next event is scheduled for October 7 at Pub La Cale.
