Mianbi and Geely launch RoboHarness for warehouse robots
Mianbi and Geely’s AI center jointly released RoboHarness, an embodied-agent framework, and said robots built on it are already running in Geely’s production and warehousing scenarios. The collaboration extends from the earlier Galaxy M9 in-car deployment in 2025 to industrial robotics in 2026.
What RoboHarness does
RoboHarness builds on Mianbi’s earlier EmbodiedClaw framework and combines:
- VLM perception and understanding
- VLA action planning
- navigation and dispatch tools
- long-horizon memory and task orchestration
- retry and recovery mechanisms for failures
- a data loop for continual improvement from real-world work
The companies say the system helps robots move from “seeing and understanding” to “planning and executing” in complex physical environments.
Why this matters
Geely said the framework is designed for stable operation in real industrial settings, not just lab demos. The partnership also leans on Geely’s 23.5 EFLOPS compute center, which the company says is the largest among Chinese automakers, to support training and simulation.
Mianbi framed the deal as a step from in-car AI to embodied AI, arguing that the same endpoint stack—on-device models, multimodal perception, and real-time decision-making—can power both smart cockpits and robots.
