AI growth claims mask socialized risks, the post argues

AI systems are being sold as engines of growth and competitiveness, but the quoted post argues that this framing ignores a key asymmetry: the gains may be private, while many of the risks and costs are socialized.
The point is not that growth is irrelevant, but that growth alone does not guarantee equality or shared benefits, so the social consequences of AI need to be judged separately from its economic promise.
