Claude Code adds iOS Simulator control for side-by-side mobile testing
xiaohu · x · 2026-07-22
Claude Code desktop now hooks into the iOS Simulator so it can run and test mobile apps side by side with your work.
- The simulator is embedded next to the Claude app instead of taking over the screen.
- Humans can keep interacting with the simulator while Claude is running, with live synchronization of taps, swipes, and keyboard input.
- Each session gets its own simulator, and a single session can run up to four simulators at once.
- The demo also highlights shortcuts, gesture support, and performance controls like FPS, resolution, and encoding settings.
