AI Coding Tool Update: Memory Leaks Fixed, Long Session Stalls Resolved

A recent AI coding tool update (suspected to be Cline) shipped major improvements across versions. Version 2.1.208 fixed memory leak batches, reduced transcript sizes by up to 79x, and sped up tool rounds by 7x in MCP-heavy sessions. The subsequent 2.1.216 release killed the quadratic slowdown that previously caused long sessions to stall.
