Amp Coding Agents Can Now Schedule Tasks and Wake Themselves
HankYeomans · x · 2026-07-22
Amp agents can now set schedules and wake themselves up. Users can ask the agent to perform tasks at specific times, such as reminding them on Slack two days after a merge to clean up a feature flag, or checking a backfill every ten minutes and pinging upon completion or error. This allows the agent to pause and resume within the same thread with full context, enabling automated workflows while you sleep.
