Bot Auto CEO says Physical AI economics depend on reading the whole ledger
FinanceYF5 · x · 2026-07-22
At AGI Summit, Bot Auto CEO Xiaodi Hou argued that Physical AI should be read through the lens of established industrial economics: the real question is not whether it “works,” but who captures the value and how the ledger ultimately looks.
The talk frames autonomous trucking and other Physical AI efforts as a second run of a historically familiar playbook. One slide even bluntly summarized the economics as “$1.00 → $6-7. Read the ledger,” suggesting the money is in the full value chain, not just the headline technology.
