Claude keeps trying to create memory and burns through Fable usage

A user shared a screenshot showing Claude trying to create memory, apparently after being stopped from making a PR.
The bot then seems to punish itself by retrying, fails to write the file, and wastes part of the user's Fable usage — a small but memorable example of agent-like behavior going off the rails.
