Cisco launches Antares, open-weight small models for code security

Cisco launched Antares, a family of open-weight small language models focused on finding known vulnerabilities inside codebases.
According to Cisco’s post, the models outperform many open and closed models on critical security tasks, while costing far less to run. The release is aimed at cyber defenders and code-scanning workflows.
