Cybercab math looks viable in the US at 70,000 miles a year and $1 per mile

The post argues that 70,000 miles a year is not overly optimistic for a Cybercab-style robotaxi, since that works out to about 200 miles per day—roughly what current rideshare cars do.
It says a $1-per-mile price point would work in the US and many other markets, especially because Uber’s average fare is around $2.5 per mile, though it may not work in lower-priced markets such as Poland and parts of Eastern Europe.
